Q: How long does incorporation take?
A: An Incorporation Package can be sent with all instruction, questions and answers, letter templates for your P&C to become incorporated. There is a fee, but it is a once only fee, rather than every year, especially for P&C Associations.
The process involves forwarding completed applications to the Minister for gazetting in NSW Parliament under the 'Federation for Parents and Citizens Associations Act 1976, and all completed incorporation requests received by the Federation are submitted once each school term.
The Federation has no control over the time taken by Government to gazette in Parliament.

A: No, we do not keep copies of individual constitutions, mainly because there are only two - the Prescribed and the Standard - both appear in the current handbook for P&C Associations. If they can't locate the constitution (which may have been formulated and adopted around the time of their incorporation application, they can download the constitution from our website and insert the name etc.
