Life Membership
Q: How do I go about getting Life Membership for someone?
A: (Clause 11, Suggested Rules or By-Laws to Accompany the Prescribed and Standard Constitutions for P&C Associations).
Life Membership badges cost $30.00 each
Life Membership Certificates cost $5.00 each
Outstanding Service Badges cost $15.00 each
Certificate of Appreciation cost $5.00 each or (10 Certificates for $45.00)
Payment must be made in advance in the form of a cheque or money order, together with a letter from the P&C Association notifying Federation Secretariat of the names of the new Life Member(s) and when the Association would like to make its presentation.
Q: What else can we do to show our appreciation to a P&C Member who has done a lot for the school through the P&C?
A: Certificates of Appreciation cost $5.00 each. These can be provided to individual P&C Associations on request in the same way as Life Memberships.
Q: How long does it take to process this at the Secretariat?
A: There is about a 2 to 3 week turnaround. The names will be recorded in our Data Base for posterity and goods will be mailed to their preferred address.
Note: Federation does not APPROVE life membership awards - they are decided by majority vote at a general or special meeting of the individual P&C association - the Federation simply endorses this in a sense and provides Associations with a memento of the occasion to present to recipients.
