The prescribed constitution for incorporated P&C Associations must not be altered and should be adopted when the P&C Association, through the Federation's 1976 Act of Incorporation, is gazetted as an incorporated body.
The standard constitution for unincorporated P&C Associations must not be altered.
A P&C Association is at liberty to formulate and amend a set of enabling by-laws to accompany both constitutions.
