With the federal election looming, campaigns from political parties and stakeholder bodies are beginning to ramp up. The P&C Federation, along with P&C Associations across NSW, holds a unique place in this landscape, balancing the needs of local communities with legislative obligations and the spirit of the Education Act 1990.
P&C Associations
P&C Associations are representative of and responsible to their school communities. We recognise that members of P&C Associations may hold a wide range of political views during this election period, and we celebrate that diversity!
When acting as a representative of your P&C Association, we encourage you to be an active and informed advocate for public education. Being non-party political does not mean being neutral—it means engaging with issues based on facts rather than blindly supporting or attacking any political party.
