P&C Federation 2018 Conference
Friday 2 & Saturday 3 March 2018
The P&C Federation Conference is being held for its members across New South Wales to attend regardless of their location whether it be in metro, regional or rural areas. Each P&C Association has the opportunity to elect and send 2 representatives from their P&C Association to attend on their behalf in order to gather information, knowledge and resources and be able to share, learn and network with other P&C Associations and then return to their members and pass on what they have learnt to assist their P&C Association achieve their goals and better support their students and school community. Please note that places are limited.
The conference will run over 2 days, Friday 2 & Saturday 3 March 2018. Friday will commence with registration at 9am and conclude at 4.30pm allowing for a little free time before the Awards Dinner starting at 6.30pm for those attending. Saturday will kick off earlier with an 8.30am registration and conclude at 4pm. The conference will include guest speakers, exhibitors and workshops for attendees to participate in, the details will be advised once final confirmation is complete. Registration for workshops will open in January 2018.

Does your P&C Association have a volunteer that deserves the title “NSW P&C Volunteer of the year”?
P&C Federation wants to hear from you so why not nominate them!
To nominate a deserving candidate please complete the nomination form ensuring all criteria is addressed.
- Nominating P&C Association must be a financial member of P&C Federation at the time of the nomination.
- Nomination to be a decision of the P&C Association members
- President to sign off that the person nominated was the choice as voted by the P&C Association.
- The period in which the deserving volunteer is being nominated for is within the period of 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2017

Andrew Johnson, appointed to his current role in January 2015, has more than 20 years of national and international experience working in senior leadership positions NGOs, and international intergovernmental organisations.
His work has included management and oversight of large scale service delivery programming, policy development and advocacy campaigns. He has been requested to present to the UN Security Council, US Congress and the Australian Parliament on issues pertinent to children and young people He was an Adjunct Professor at NYU, developing and teaching courses on child and human rights.
His work as a children’s campaigner has included senior roles with, Plan International, Save the Children, ChildFund Alliance, UNICEF, UNCHR and the Australia Council of Social Service (ACOSS).
Mandy Weidmann is Australia’s ‘Fundraising Whisperer’ – publisher of the Fundraising Directory and author of the Practical Fundraising Handbook for School and Club Volunteers. Mandy believes that parent volunteers shouldn’t have to reinvent the wheel all the time and is passionate about providing resources to make fundraising easier (and more fun).
Andrew Fuller, has been described as someone who “puts the heart back into psychology.” As a clinical psychologist, Andrew works with many schools and communities in Australia and internationally, specialising in the wellbeing of young people and their families. He is a Fellow of the Department of Psychiatry and the Department of Learning and Educational Development at the University of Melbourne.
He is a well-published author of many bestselling books, also co-authored a series of programs for the promotion of resilience and emotional intelligence used in over 3500 schools in Britain and Australia called THE HEART MASTERS.
