Event Risk Management
When planning an event consideration must be given to safety. Please complete the following fields as suitable

Will your event have a Foam Machine?
Foam machines are not permitted for use if they are hired and operated directly by the P&C. However, they may be included in a P&C event only if they are supplied and operated independently by a third-party company. In such cases, the company must provide evidence of current Public Liability Insurance prior to the event.

Will your event have Independent Stall Holders?
Independent Stall holders may include parents, carers, or hobbyists who are running a stall independently and are not volunteering on behalf of the P&C. Please note that such individuals are not covered under the P&C Association’s insurance and are therefore required to have their own Public Liability Insurance. If a stall holder does not already have a policy in place, we are able to offer a one-off Stall Holder Insurance policy specifically for the event. Please note that this policy provides Public Liability cover only. Please advise how many stallholders will need Public Liability cover for your event.

Have you checked the following for your event?
All food serving areas are cordoned off from general public access
Food preparation has been in line with Safe Food Handling Practices
We have a check list for operation of a BBQ eg checking that all fittings are secured
We will provide a sign-in sheet for volunteers
We will distribute an overview of the duties required to our volunteers
We have made sure that any children (10 years and older) who are assisting our activity have permission from their parent/carer
We have organised monitoring and cleaning of all amenities such as rubbish/toilets etc
We have ensured that the area is well lit and easy to enter and depart for guests
We have ensured that any First Aid requirements for the event are in place
We have developed a traffic management plan including liaising with local police & council
A copy of their Safework NSW Registration has been requested for any ride operators we have engaged
We have reviewed the requirements for Working with Children Check
Risk Management Plan
A Risk Management Plan should be used anytime that risks need to be managed. For example, during a fete, a barbecue or a stall a Risk Management Plan is created to identify and manage the risk involved with the project delivery. Please list all activities being run by the P&C, and where necessary upload your Risk Management Plan - files can be uploaded at the end of this form.
