Purpose in Action!

Each year, the first Wednesday in March is P&C Day – a chance to recognise, thank and celebrate the incredible contribution P&C Associations make to NSW public school communities.

This year, P&C Day falls on Wednesday 4 March 2026, and we are looking forward to celebrating with school communities across NSW. The theme for 2026 is Purpose in Action, as we focus on the core purpose of P&C Associations and the meaningful work they do every day.

This year’s theme focuses on the Objects of a P&C Association that define why P&Cs exist and the important role they play in schools.

These Objects remind us that P&Cs are much more than fundraising groups. They exist to strengthen cooperation between parents, citizens, students and school staff, support student well-being, facilities and opportunities, and ensure parents have a meaningful voice in education.

To help bring this to life, we have created some fun and creative assets for you to use, including frames and a poster. Download the assets and share photos of how your P&C live out the Objects every day. What the Objects look like will be different for each school community. There is a frame based around each object. We can’t wait to see how you celebrate P&C Day 2026!
