Message from the CEO
11 months agoAs we mark Public Education Week, I want to take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the incredible community that makes our public schools in NSW truly exceptional. For over a century, the P&C Federation has proudly stood alongside the parents, teachers, principals, support staff, and all those who work tirelessly to ensure that every child receives a quality education.
This week is a celebration of the collective effort that makes our schools vibrant and thriving places of learning. From the Department of Education and our dedicated politicians to the parents and carers who give so much of their time and energy, it’s clear that public education is a shared commitment.
I’m particularly proud of the nearly 2,000 P&C Associations across NSW. The work you do is invaluable—whether advocating for your school community, running services like canteens and uniform shops, funding and leading school infrastructure projects, or providing essential resources to students and families. Your efforts truly embody the spirit of community and demonstrate the profound impact that parents can have on their children’s education.
To all the members of our public school communities, thank you for your dedication, passion, and unwavering support. We are all working together to build a better future for our children, and we are proud to belong to such an extraordinary public education system.
Happy Public Education Week!
