Elections Now Open for the P&C Federation Board 2025

Nominations have officially opened for the 2025 P&C Federation Board, marking the beginning of the annual process to elect representatives who will safeguard the strategic direction of the P&C Federation as it seeks to support, equip and enable parents and carers in public education across NSW.

The Federation of Parents and Citizens Associations of NSW has been the peak body for school communities for more than a century. Its Board plays a pivotal role in setting the organisation’s direction and ensuring that the perspectives of P&C Associations shape the decisions made for the Federation at the highest levels.

Each year, elections provide the opportunity for parents and carers to step forward and represent their electorates. Successfully elected Board members are tasked with ensuring the Federation remains committed to its core values and principles, and its long-standing commitment to a thriving public education system.

The importance of these elections lies in the representative nature of the Board. Drawing members from across NSW ensures that state-wide priorities are reflected in the Federation’s work, helping to keep its priorities inclusive and relevant to the diverse needs of schools and families.

Nominations are open for both Board members and Delegates. Those elected will work to safeguard the Federation’s values and strengthen its capacity to speak as the united voice of parents and carers.

The nomination period is now underway, with full details and information on how to apply available at pandc.org.au/elections
