Introducing the New President of the Board: Kaitlin Serrano

The P&C Federation of NSW is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Board following our recent elections. This year brings a mix of new and continuing members, each contributing valuable experience and commitment to public education communities across the state.
At the first meeting of the newly formed Board, Kaitlin Serrano was elected as President. Kaitlin is a first-born Australian, a single mother, and a former student, now parent, of her local public school. She has a long-standing connection to the Southern District and brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across community and small business settings. Her approach is grounded in resilience, empathy and equality, with a strong belief in ensuring every child has access to opportunity and that parents and carers are heard in decisions affecting their school communities. She enters the role with a clear focus on inclusive, solutions-focused representation and positive outcomes for P&C Associations.
We also take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Aresha Quaass, who has served faithfully as President of the Board and has made a significant contribution to P&C Associations in NSW. Her dedication and service have been greatly appreciated, and we are pleased that she will continue to support the Federation as a Board member into the new term.
We look forward to working with Kaitlin and the newly elected Board as we continue to represent, support and strengthen P&C Associations across NSW in the year ahead.
