Have your say on the draft plan for NSW public education

Your voice will help shape the future of NSW public education.

Why is the NSW Department of Education consulting on this plan?

The NSW Department of Education is consulting on its future plan for education. The input from parents and carers, as well as the wider education community, is essential to ensure that the plan reflects the needs of learners across early childhood, through to schools and pathways into their first job, vocational education, or university.

Be a part of the plan for NSW public education and have your say.

Who can have a say?

Everyone can have their say on this plan. Parents and carers, students, staff and the wider education community are encouraged to review the draft plan and have their say by submitting their feedback using the online engagement tool available on the Department’s draft plan for NSW public education webpage.

How long is the consultation period?

The online engagement platform is open now for you to share your feedback. It will close on Friday, 25 August.

How will my feedback on the draft plan be used?

The Department will review and summarise the feedback they heard during the consultation and will use this to inform the final plan for NSW public education.
