P&C Meetings and COVID-19 Safety Plans

When having meetings on school sites, the Department of Education advises P&C Associations to consult with their school principals to develop a brief plan that addresses running meetings that meet current NSW Health advice.

The plan should address the number of people able to meet on the site meeting physical distancing requirements, the time allocated to run the meeting and the recording of people in attendance ( in case there is a need for contact tracing).

The COVID-19 Safety Plan templates provided by the NSW Government are a useful reference point and the Department of Education will release a plan template specifically for schools that might also be useful.

Current advice for families can be read here.
