President’s Message
Welcome back to Term 2! I hope the break brought some rest, connection, and perhaps even a quiet moment or two. As schools across NSW swing back into action, I want to take a moment to recognise the incredible work of our P&Cs—many of whom are already firing up the BBQs, baking cakes, and rolling out welcome mats for this weekend’s election day stalls.
These small but mighty efforts do more than raise funds—they bring communities together. In the school car parks and under the shade of the marquee, neighbours chat, children play, and volunteers lend their time and energy to make public schools stronger. It’s a reminder of what P&Cs are all about: grassroots generosity, shared purpose, and the belief that every child deserves access to a great public education.
In a time where national conversations can feel fractured and political language divisive, the work of P&Cs is a powerful antidote. We are proudly non-party political and united not by ideology, but by a common cause—supporting our schools and the students who learn and grow within them. No matter how you vote this weekend, take a moment to celebrate the unity, warmth and dedication of your local P&C. That’s democracy at its most meaningful.
All the best with the new term ahead, I am confident it’s going to be a great one.
