Rollout of Home Testing for Primary School Students
4 years ago
The NSW Department of Education has announced it is expanding the use of Rapid Antigen Home Testing (RAHT) to reduce the time school students and staff spend away from school if they are a close contact of a positive COVID-19 case.
NSW Health approved the use of RAHT kits as an option to get primary school students back to face-to-face learning earlier if they are identified as a close contact.
Free RAHT kits will be supplied by the department to schools and will be distributed when there are identified close contacts due to a positive COVID-19 case at the school.
