Requirements for P&C Associations to accept NSW Back-to-school vouchers
3 years ago
Under the NSW Government’s Back-to-School program, every school child enrolled in Kindergarten to Year 12 in 2023 is entitled to 3 x $50 vouchers which will be valid until 30 June 2023.
School P&C Associations may be eligible to accept these vouchers from parents. If your P&C sells new or second-hand uniforms and other school accessories, parents and carers can redeem up to $150 per child towards the cost of school uniforms, shoes, bags, textbooks, and stationery.
There are several requirements P&C Associations must meet to be eligible:
- The P&C Association must register as an approved provider with ServiceNSW. Visit the Service NSW website or the ServiceNSW App to find out how to download vouchers or to learn more about a school’s P&C registering as a business.
- The P&C Association must be incorporated in order to register with ServiceNSW. For a limited time, P&C Federation is offering free incorporation for members. Read more via link: https://www.pandc.org.au/complimentary-incorporation-for-unincorporated-pc-associations/
It is also a requirement that P&C Associations have an active ABN.
Please contact P&C Federation’s Member Support team if you have any questions on 1300 885 982 or mail@pandc.org.au .
