A co-hosted webinar by the NSW Department of Education and the P&C Federation NSW to hear parent and carer reflections of their most recent experience in supporting learning from home.

Through the webinar, our panel will seek to expand on the key insights heard so far from parents and carers on their experience in supporting students learning from home, actively engaging webinar participants through short polls and the webinar chat throughout.

Estelle Marquelle
Director, Innovation & Systems Design, Transformation Directorate @NSW Department of Education
Estelle Marque is the Director of Innovation & System Design within the Department of Education (Transformation Directorate). Her experience spans over a range of government agencies, supporting them in delivering new services that optimise customer experience. She has a passion for embedding the voice of students, parents and carers in the design of policies and bringing people along the journey of making government organisations increasingly more customer-centric.
Ben Berriman
A/Chief Education Officer, Innovation & System Design, Transformation Directorate @NSW Department of Education
Ben Berriman is the Chief Education Officer, Manager Research and Community Voice in Innovation and System Design within the Department of Education (Transformation Directorate). He brings 22 years of school-based experience to his roles within the Innovation & System Design team, gained from working in a range of High School settings across Western Sydney. In both school-based, and corporate roles Ben actively seeks opportunities in incorporate student, parent/carer and community voice, in partnership with staff, in decision making and planning. He passionately believes in the practices of strengths based collaborative practice to enable teams to operate as highly effective and cohesive units, to the benefit of improving student educational, wellbeing, and life outcomes

Natalie Walker
President @P&C Federation
Natalie Walker is the Far West Councillor & elected President of NSW P&C Federation. For the past six and a half years, she has volunteered as a councillor to support students, parents and citizens involved in public education in NSW, as well as nine years as a member of her local P&C Associations, in the role as President, Vice President and Secretary. Natalie has supported public education through various Boards and educational committees with the NSW Department of Education and NESA and has over 20 years’ experience in the community sector. She resides in Forbes, Central West NSW, with her husband and two children who attend Forbes High School.
