Celebrate P&C Day on March 3rd 2010

The Federation has strongly lobbied for this special day as a way of recognising the efforts of local P&C associations. P&C Day is a way of providing an opportunity to promote the role of the P&C and to celebrate their outstanding contributions in support of Public Education.

P&Cs allow parents to have a say in how their local school is functioning and how best to meet the needs of their own individual community. P&C's are a place where the distilled wisdom of a local community can have real and positive impacts on how a school functions.

We would encourage all P&C associations to mark this day on their calendar and to spare some time to congratulate yourself for your ongoing involvement.
